We're Terry and Tony, or TnT, or Teresa Schultz and Tony Flanigan, also known as TnT Unleashed, and we are the owners of this workfromhomeideas.co.za site, and also the owners of a few other sites. We live in East London, South Africa, and we ... you guessed it! ... work from home! It is August 2011 and we are 42 and 51 years old. We love to hear from visitors to this work from home ideas site, and we also try and answer any questions, if we can. However, please note that we cannot always reply to emails immediately. Why not? Because we have a few websites and blogs it may look like we are a really successful company. This is far from the truth. We only have the websites and blogs because we dug down and did the work involved in making an effort at earning an income from home, in East London, South Africa, after not being able to find a job that paid enough to cover our monthly expenses. We are not a company. We are just two regular individuals trying to make ends meet. We started to work from home (or tried to start working from home!) in about February 2008. While our exposure grows, many months are still a struggle. We do not earn a regular income each month, and some months we are still earning a bit less than what we need each month, not to mention having no money over for little luxuries or weekends away. We do not yet even have the money to buy our own car, and we currently use my father's old and faulty little car. We currently live in my parents' house along with them, my two sons, and two dogs. There are just two of us working from home as freelancers and working at making a little extra income online too. Please do not be upset if we cannot immediately reply to your emails. It is probably because we are driving children to school or back, supporting them at their school activities, overseeing their school homework, trying to finish some freelance work so we can get paid before we run out of money, trying to work at increasing our passive income, or marketing like crazy for new work when we have none. We love to assist people and want to reply to your emails right away, but sometimes we simply cannot. If you do not mind sometimes having to wait a day or two or even more for a reply, email us, but below are also some frequently asked questions, and their answers, that may help you. Frequently asked questions:Do you have a job for me?We are sorry you are looking for work, but no, we do not have a job for you. Can we enter into a partnership that will benefit us both? Unfortunately entering into a partnership usually means us paying money or at least investing time or spending time on marketing something. We don't have the money or the time. Sorry. We are positive about our future growth in what we already do. We are happy with what we do and want to do. We do not consider new ventures or partnerships. Any time we do have available we spend on developing and marketing what we already do or what we want to do. Do you have any extra work I could assist with and get paid for? No. We do not have extra work, and all work that we are able to do and acquire, we do ourselves. Can you outsource some work to me or send enquiries my way? Any enquiries for quotes or work that is somehow related to what we do, but that we are unable to do ourselves, we do already have two or three friends that we can refer the client to. Sorry. Anything related to services we already offer is already covered. Anything not related to what we do is of no interest to us, and since we do not advertise services we do not offer, we do not get enquiries for services not related to what we already do. How can I also work from home like you do? It is not easy. Read a lot. (browsing on your Internet for free is a good place to start, as well as reading through the articles on this site and on its blog Work From Home South Africa) learn a lot, take notes, have patience, do not get depressed, plan well, never give up, and one of the most important things besides also doing a ton of marketing, is taking the first steps to actually DOING something. Work from home opportunities and making money online programs do not work. Neither does any work from home idea work. Read those last two sentences again, carefully, and then read this: It is YOU that works, and you will need to work hard to achieve your dreams. Can you give me free advice to help me work from home? We do give you free advice, right here on the pages of this site and its blog, as well as on some pages on our other sites. We cannot do the reading, learning and working FOR you. Working from home may not be for you if you are not prepared to read, learn, and do. We are able to work from home because we made the effort to put into practice what we read and learned. We are still learning all the time. Most of our reading and learning takes place on the Internet, for free. You may wish to visit the guest book on our Work From Home South Africa blog and ask questions there. Also see a list of 8 ways we help our fellow South Africans. Do you offer training courses and if so can I come and do training or a course with you? Um, we work in a tiny little room that used to be a laundry. Our dog sleeps in this room. We are still learning ourselves. If you live in the same town as us maybe we could squash you into the room somewhere to give you lessons on how to use the Internet to work from home, but we would have to charge what people would consider ridiculously high prices for any courses, because spending time giving courses would have to pay us considerably more than we are already earning. While giving the courses we would not be able to work so giving courses would have to more than replace our current income, but thanks for the idea. Perhaps sometime in the future we may write and sell an ebook or book for beginners, giving steps on how to start working from home, but for now, we prefer to give people free tips and information on the pages of our sites. Please also note that even if we gave training or offered courses and even if you read a book we may sometime write, we cannot do the work for you. Working hard at working from home is up to you. Bottom line: No we do not give training or offer courses and we are not keen to. I have a website that may benefit your site's visitors. Can you link to it or can we do a link exchange? We used to do link exchanges on our 1pic4twenty.co.za site, then stopped. We do not do link exchanges. We sometimes link to sites we think our visitors might find useful, but it is not upon request that we do this. We just link to some other sites if and when we feel like it. Note that You are able to link to your site on our site yourself. Read one of our Work From Home South Africa blog articles and leave a nice comment with your website link. If we accept the comment, it will appear and you will have a link on our site going to your site without even having to also link to us on your site! If you are a resident of South Africa or if your idea or site is an idea or site that South Africans can benefit from, and if you think that your website or blog is particularly beneficial to our visitors, you can also comment on our blog's community notice board page, or on our blog's List of over 101 sites with work from home ideas page. Can I send you an email that describes a product or service I'm selling or that details the benefits of paying to join a work from home opportunity? It is likely that you may just send something like this anyway, without first asking us if you can, and the email is just as likely to immediately end up in our spam folder where it will not be read, and just be deleted after a while. Also, we do not have the money to buy anything or join anything. We prefer to spend our money on improving what is already earning us some income. Gosh, is there nothing I can email you about? Lol, of course not.
