I disclose my earnings I made online in December 2010
Regards my little make-money-online-project, for absolutely
NO ACTIVITY OR WORK AT ALL
during December, I would have still made slightly over R700
Ten months of NO ACTIVITY OR WORK regards my project
is roughly R7 000,
for work previously done on my project,
BEFORE the start of those ten months.
With just a tiny bit of activity (about less than 10 hours)
I made nearly R800 in December.
R800 is currently about $120.
(The R700 I would have made anyway, with NO work or activity, plus a bit extra.) Every time I do a bit of
work regards my project, I'm increasing the amount I can earn each month for doing nothing!
South Africans need to stop complaining that they can't find work. I mean, do South Africans really want
to work? Because they can. I'm South African, living in South Africa and I make money online.
I'm 41 now, and four years ago I couldn't even copy and paste or send an email.
Okay, my online earnings are just an extra income right now, as I'm doing other work too
(also related to the Internet,) but I love making money online, and I see that it is possible to make a fulltime
living out of working online. Do I have to do a lot of work? Yes. Is it difficult? No. I am just determined to
work hard, learn all I can (for free on the Internet) and just knuckle down and do the work. If South Africans have
a computer and Internet connection, they can make money online. It is very often that a
computer and Internet connection is all that is needed. (no extra expense other than
knuckling down to learn and work.) (If you can even call that last bit an expense.)
It is useful (but not necessary) to have your own website or blog to make money online (own domain name, so have to
pay for domain registration and hosting)
but there are also totally free sites and blogs South Africans can get and use. I don't fully know if it's just
coincidence that my own hosted sites make me the most money, but since they are so far, I would think it's best
to have one's own domain name site/s as well as free sites or blogs, or even instead of free sites or blogs, but
perhaps totally free sites are a good place to start until one gets used to the ins and outs of making money online.
WordPress blogs can have totally free themes (the way the site looks) and you just pay for hosting and domain
registration (to have your very own site instead of a totally free one that is usually part of another site
or displays the ads of the owner of the site), and you upload your site to the Internet (or pay somebody to upload it)
and you do not have to know how to design a website or have to know any html coding. There are also free
WordPress lessons on the Internet if you get stuck. But as said before, you can start with a totally free site or two
(just need a computer and Internet connection.)
See our
R720 free-theme WordPress site package, including domain registration, hosting and upload to
the Internet, where we get you all set up to just log in to your site and start adding content. Even some highly
professional businesses use these kinds of sites.
My December 2010 online earnings disclosed here may not seem like much, and it isn't much, really,
but remember that I am not yet able to put in effort to make money online during every spare moment I have. Because
it takes a while for online earnings to grow, I have to continue with other work in the meantime. IE do not quit
your day job, yet. Let earnings grow first. Or start your making money online efforts while still in school, or
during a gap year the year after you leave school, or even in your spare time while at university, or in the evenings
and weekends when you're not at your day job.
School leavers can earn a living writing
online.
Moms who already stay home can consider making money online to earn extra income for the household. Luckily
the other work I do is from home too, and is work I enjoy
(web design, website onsite search engine optimization, photo editing (also all self-taught),
writing assignments and more,) but I love making money
online too, and would like to have the time to do it more and more. Perhaps I will as my online earnings slowly
increase, and I can do less of my usual work and devote more time to making money online.

AUGUST 2010 ONLINE EARNINGS
SEPTEMBER 2010 ONLINE EARNINGS
OCTOBER 2010 ONLINE EARNINGS
NOVEMBER 2010 ONLINE EARNINGS
DECEMBER 2010 ONLINE EARNINGS TOTAL R792.11:
GOOGLE ADSENSE EARNINGS (passive income from Adsense):
R578.95
These Google Adsense earnings include:
R3.97 from Bukisa (Bukisa only recently added Adsense as a method to earn money writing online for
their site. They used to offer pageview earnings methods only, and earnings from the efforts of new users
you've referred. They've recently changed the earning method to be from only Adsense, so far. (They may
introduce another earning method in the near future, as not everyone on Bukisa is happy with the change to
only Adsense, as not all Bukisa members have an Adsense publisher account, or can get one.)
R11.16 from HubPages
R13.85 from Triond.
The balance of my total (R578.95) December 2010 Google Adsense earnings (balance being R549.97) all came from my own
sites and blogs.
PASSIVE INCOME EARNINGS FROM AD REVENUE SHARE/PAGEVIEWS on writing sites:
$1.82 (currently roughly R12.) from Factoidz
I guess this is another amount that sounds like next to nothing, but hear me out. I have 29 articles on
Factoidz, well, 30, but I only added that 30th one on the last day of December so it didn't yet make pageview earnings
at the end of December. I did get R1.98 just for adding it to Factoidz, though, but that's for the Activity
Earnings section I have not yet gotten to.
What I'm trying to say is that for 29 articles I added to Factoidz
prior to the start of December, I earned R12 during the month of December -
for doing NOTHING on Factoidz during
December, as I had already
done it (added articles to the site prior to the start of December.)
It might not be a totally accurate projection, but that means, to me, that
had I had 290 articles on Factoidz prior to the start of the December, that my December Factoidz pageviews earnings
would have been in the vicinity of R120 instead of just R12. Had I had 2 900 articles on Factoidz prior to the start
of December and for doing nothing on Factoidz during December? Earnings
about R1 200 (Let me repeat: this is even if adding no new articles during the month of December.)
This is what passive income is. You do
some work, but then can continue earning from that work already done, month after month. If wanting the passive
income to increase, you work more.
My projections of future earnings are just rough figures, and the pageviews of my articles may drop
off after a while, if I don't remain at least a little active on my own sites, writing sites, and do
some marketing of my articles/pages.
There are various methods to increase pageviews of my articles (I can choose to do more of that, and spend less time
writing new articles, if I want to.) You will learn all this if you set out to
make money writing online. I cannot say that you will earn the same as I do. You may earn less, you may
earn more. One thing is pretty certain though. The harder and more you work, and the more you learn and use what
you learn, the more you earn.
$3.66 (currently about R24.25) from Helium.
I have 76 articles on Helium and did not add any new ones to Helium during the month of December, yet still
earned money for the work already done. Most of these articles I have published elsewhere online too, where they are
also earning me an income.
R1.13 from Triond.
I have ten articles on Triond and have not added any new ones to Triond in over two months.
ACTIVITY EARNINGS:
As mentioned earlier, R1.98 for submitting an article to Factoidz on the last day of December.
I will also earn from pageviews of this article, over time.
$3 (roughly R19.89, currently) for keeping my reading and rating rate on Helium above 500 in the last 90 days.
Helium has changed their upfront payment system. I doubt I will submit articles to their upfront payment
system anymore as then I cannot republish the article elsewhere again (or it cannot be a previously published
article anymore, either) and the earnings are too small for my liking to give away exclusive rights to my articles
that I would rather republish on more than just one site, (I publish some of my articles on more than just one site
so that I can earn from just one article in quite a few
ways,) but I will still be using Helium for pageview earnings of my articles (these articles can, so far, be
republished elsewhere), and I plan to submit more articles to Helium as soon as I get the chance.
OTHER ONLINE EARNINGS:
$5 (currently about R33.15) for having a photo on Redgage featured.
$9.10 x 2 = $18.20 = about R120.66 for selling two articles on
Constant Content
with usage rights only. Usage rights only means I can sell them again and again.
The TOTAL of R792.11 is slightly down on November's earnings, but I feel it's due to it being holidays in December and also because I was not too active on the sites in December. I look forward to an improvement again when I tally up at the end of this month, January 2011.
The point is, for extremely little activity (work), (because the work was already previously done) I earned
R792.11 in December 2010, online.
I think I could quite easily say that
for NO activity or work at all during December,
I would have still made slightly over R700
because of the work having already been previously done.
I can also STILL do NO work regards my making money online project in January 2011, and STILL probably earn
about at least R700 in January 2011.
If I had time to put in a lot more work regards my little project of making money online,
I could earn a lot more.
Wanna try it? It's fun. And the harder you work the more you earn. It's easy, but you have to be
determined to put in many hours of not only working, but reading and learning plenty as you go along.
Follow the links in the above article, as well as the links on the right under the heading "Further Reading,"
do really read the information in these articles (as well as read information in articles
those articles link to) if you're serious about making money online, and get started!
