Surviving the recession is not just about financial control and conservative financial dealings.
For most South Africans surviving the recession is a joke, as most of us don't have enough money even when there is no recession.
Of course, we all know that the average government does tend to stretch the truth a bit, and generally go into a state of denial whenever a negative, such as slipping popularity or recession is mentioned.
The purpose of this article is to help create awareness amongst South Africans, so that we can all participate in the next recession, on an equal footing. That equal footing is sufficient cash reserves to feel the financial pinch, and to be able to rejoice, knowing that we are all now in the same boat, and participating in a truly national event.
We all have our unique gifts, talents and abilities, and generally don't use these at our place of work. I
am living proof of that. I spent too many years trying to "fit in" in corporate environments. I wasted
time in technical environments. By accident, not by design, I found myself designing websites. Our clients
are extremely happy with the manner in which we are able
to portray what they could only visualize.
At this point in time I am unable to participate in the current recession, but I do know that the next
recession will have my full support and participation.
To join in the recessionary movement, if you’re fortunate enough to be in full-time employment
that pays, typically, a pittance, you need to start a home business. A home business does not have to be a
full-time second job. A home business is started to provide a second income.
